The name of this leather goes back to the Russian word “Jufti” (=a pair). Juchten (Russia) leather is a premium leather into which willow and birch bark is worked in following tanning to make this leather particularly resistant and compliant.
The high-end "Art Manuel" technique used for the RIOS1931 full-bugg strap is similar to a "Goodyear welted" or "frame-stitched" shoe. The lining is made from vegetable tanned cow leather with anti-allergic coating. In cross-section, the band shows a round padding and is quilted with contrasting stitching in cream white. It is well suited for people with regular wrist sizes.
PLEASE NOTE: This strap does only fit the orginal Breitling deployment clasp and deployment clasps made to the same specifications and comes with a free matching spring-bar set. We offer the matching deployment clasps in our shop.
