Shell Cordovan leather is one of the most exclusive and robust leathers available. Its high fat content makes it water resistant. Its dense and robust structure make it the perfect long-term companion on your wrist.
The high-end "Art Manuel" technique used for the RIOS1931 full-bugg strap is similar to a "Goodyear welted" or "frame-stitched" shoe. The strap and the loops are hand stitched with a Saddler´s Seam. The lining is made from vegetable tanned cow leather with anti-allergic coating. In cross-section, the band shows a round padding and is quilted with matching stitching.
The thick padding of this strap flattens from the case to the buckle which provides for ultimate wearing comfort. This watch band is well suited for people with regular wrist sizes and the perfect choice for larger chronographs and sporty wristwatches. It comes with a replaceable, polished spring-bar buckle made from nickel-free L316 stainless steel and a free matching spring-bar set.
